(not supplied with the basin) wallbasin1.gif - 5276 Bytes

  1. Establish the centre line of the basin and the mounting height. Centre the bracket on the basin centre line at the desired height and mark the position of the fixing holes.
  2. Drill holes for the fixing system selected appropriate to the construction of the wall. Secure the fixing bracket.
  3. Install the tapset in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Do not over tighten as this may damage the basin.
  4. Install the waste outlet (not included with the basin). Either a 32mm or 40mm waste may be used. Put a bead of waterproof mastic compound around the outer rim. Place the waste support bar from the fixing bracket over the waste outlet (see diagram) before fitting and tightening the waste outlet back nut. To avoid damaging the basin do not over tighten the back nut. wallbasin2.gif - 4581 Bytes

Installation of pedestal basin using fixing brackets code 3768 (which are not supplied with the basin) wallbasin4.gif - 3339 Bytes

  1. Position the pedestal and gently place the basin onto it. Mark the top edge and centre line of the basin onto the wall, and the position of the pedestal fixing holes onto the floor (see diagram) Remove the basin from the pedestal, and lay the pedestal aside.
  2. Measure the distance from the top to the bottom edge of the basin. Draw a horizontal line on a wall at this distance below the top edge line marked earlier (see diagram). Draw two vertical lines through the bottom edge line equidistant from the basin centre line. Holding the bracket with the ledge level with the edge line, mark the position of the bracket fixing holes. wallbasin5.gif - 5433 Bytes

  6. Drill holes for the pedestal fixing system (alternatively set in a mortar bed using 4:1 sand to cement), and reposition the pedestal.
